Big Bang - F1 Concert in Singapore 2013

This was the most jam-packed concert we've ever been to, if you were there or you get a chance to browse through the grand prix website for photos you'll understand what I mean. The moment I found out that Big Bang is coming, I knew I need to beg Jof to go and watch. We've been to a Big Bang concert once and it was fun so it's not because of the huge crowd, not because it's standing nor held outdoor, but because it fell exactly on our anniversary date. 

I gave in time for negotiation and 2 weeks after I managed to seal the deal! :) I was at my happiest back then because it will be memorable, GP even had a meet and greet contest but the chances of winning it is so little. (*but I did try hoping to win) Well, to sum it up - it was a great fun night. Like how they normally do it, big bang managed to get the crowd up and going with their upbeat songs and perfomances. 

I'll let the shots do the talking, pardon for the small amount of photos but it was quite hard to get nice ones when everyone is partying the night away.

BCI Asia Awards 2013

First thing, apologies for not having photos during the event. I have to admit, we arrived late and imagine yourself entering the venue with some delegates staring at you while the speaker is giving his speech. But of course before that, like any other events, we have to go through the registration process - giving out namecards, getting our ID cards and goody bags :D

So after the welcome speech, dinner was served - chinese food!! Hyped to the max, favorites are coming my way - sharksfin soup, steamed fish, mushrooms, almond desserts & ++.. Honestly speaking totally forgot about the rest but definitely it was surely dimsum! Good thing about that night is that I went there equipped with my fine dining skill, so not much to worry with the number of utensils on my side of my plate and yes, food is being serve individually to every guest.

While having dinner, the programme continued. One amazing thing that night is the guy who did the sand art, gotta find the video to share with you guys. He was AMAZING!! To be like him, you need to have THE talent. Then came the awarding part, top 10 architects, developers, etc.. If only I have a copy of the programme then I would be able to recall more but then again this is a late post xp.

Enough said, now I'm excited to share with you what's inside my goody bag :) at least some photos to put up here..

Food Trippin Shots

For all the wants that I've been dying to achieve, another target in line is taking great shots. Whatever subject it may be it's not something I plan to make a career out of, but producing nice ones effortlessly is all good to me. So for today's subject - it's gonna be all food! 

For the love of food, I want to capture the essence of their taste thru how they look. That's how you sell in business anyway, right? So let's go through them one by one..

A night to remember: CNBlue Blue Moon World Tour 2013

Okay, before we get all hyped and start spazzing from the amateurish photos I must say it was one h*ll of an experience that night. Kudos to the organizer and boices for making it successful! Yay, more concerts come!! :D just to share some thoughts, the decision to watch the concert came last minute. It popped into my head the night before the show, but good thing quick arrangements were done with the help of the gadgets and the internet. I'm sure all fans would agree when I say "we just need to get it done so we can see our idols!"

A difficult line I have to say or rather a very difficult decision I had made. I find myself unexpectedly in this situation to which I believe can bring me a step closer to my goal, that is to give my family the best of what I can give back to them. Happiness is what I want to achieve not just for me but for people who are truly dear to me and share it around to others, like what they say we only get to live once so must make the most out of it. 

Choosing a career path may sound easy but loving what you do when you start working is a different thing. In my case, it has been a dream to provide my family a home where we don't have to live in a worry so that leads me to take up Architecture. Being in this field one must have lots of perseverance and patience, frankly speaking if the creative line is in the blood you've got the passion to succeed! 

But.. It's not just about being a designer, you must also know how to run the business. Experience showed me a lot, so being a successful professional architect and the process of becoming one is quite challenging. I'm not saying this to discourage anybody, in fact it is a very interesting career. You would get to learn a lot researching on the other field of studies to incorporate into your design. It's just sad to see how other people halt midway realizing this is not what they want to do. The years of experience I had taught me to open up my mind and understand how things should be, thus I'm able to love what I do. You don't hear it from everyone when they say they had fun at work despite having up and down moments.
